BASIC COMPUTER CLASSES
Cross & Passion College, Moyle Road, Ballycastle
Various Dates from January - May 2007 (Evenings from 7pm)
Admission fees apply (consessions available).
 
Basic Computer Clases (tutor lead) for people who want to learn from the very beginning.  No examinations involved.  These courses are run through the Cross & Passion Parents’ Association and Northern Regional College, Community Education Deaprtment. 
 
Suitable for all ages (from 16 upwards) and open to all in the Moyle a variety of courses are offered from Word Processing, Internet and Email, etc. and are very enjoyable and informal as well as a learning experience.  So why not come along and join us - you’re never to old to learn!

Stars Dance Club is a cross-community dance & fitness club for ALL children and young people, male & female. We teach high quality dance & fitness routines to all our members, who then have the opportunity to compete in various competitions, displays & local events. Each member will be learning a variety of routines using a wide range of music, flexibility training, using apparatus. At the Club we promote the physical, social & therapeutic benefits of dance & fitness for all ages. Our aim is to improve physical & mental health, for recreation activities, to improve the quality of life of all who attend, to enhancing citizenship & encourage cross community friendships. The club will help all its members to grow in confidence, self esteem, co-ordination as well as being good exercise and fun.

Moyle Challenge Walk
Sunday 11th May 2008 (8.00am - 5.30pm)

Challenge Walk from Glenravel to Ballycastle.  Walkers will be bused out from Ballycastle and dropped off at Cargan Village, Glenravel.  The route includes Slieveanorra, Croghan, Knocklayd (optional) and Ballycastle Forest.  Various distances are available from 6, 12, 18 and 22 miles with a number of drop out points on each route.  Walk offers panoramic views, breath-taking scenery and unsurpassed natural beauty.

Welcome the sea birds back to the Island for their summer breeding season. Thousands of guillemots, kittiwakes and hundreds of puffins return to stake their claims on the best nest sites! The Seabird Centre is up to 90 minutes walk across the island, followed by 80 steps to the viewing platform. Cycle-hire and a minibus are available from the Harbour.

Bring from the backs of your wardrobes all those items you have been meaning to wear, the too big and the too small, the doesn't suit you anymore, the nostalgia you long to throw away but daren't Gather your items (shoes, books, clothes, bags, coats) in a big black bag and come along for a night of fun, giggles and FREE SHOPPING!!  All items are displayed anonymously and no criticism of clothing is allowed.  You simply decide if you want an item and say yes, otherwise no commentary is allowed on clothing.  If more than one woman wants an item it goes into the GRACE pile, to be bartered over at the end of the evening.  Guarantee: You will giggle, you will laugh, you will drink and make merry, and you will walk away with a new item of clothing that you absolutely love.
Such is the way with these nights.  Please don't bring damaged or stained garments.
All donations in aid of Northern Ireland Hospice.
